Bliss

We sink into each other,

overcome with bursts

of laughter.

Moments of pure joy,

like this,

are all I ask for.

You push yourself to your feet,

and turn to me,

holding out your hand.

Without a moments hesitation,

I reach out and you pull me

up, you, who always helps me rise.

You pull me closer to you,

and start leading me

in a dance.

Our dresses fan out as

we move, like leaves

in the wind.

We are utterly blissful,

content with life,

unconditionally, and unquestionably,

in love.
